Yahoo Position Eligibility?

I think we had this discussion last yr about Teix's eligibility for OF. When he got up to 15 combined games in the OF, they didn't give him the "OF" tag. As a few ppl already mentioned, he only needed one more game in LF to get it, unfortunately.

I believe Yahoo has already updated the position eligibility as Pujols for example, is now listed as only LF/1B:

So I would have to assume Teix will only be 1B/3B this yr unless he gets 15 appearances in one of the OF positions :,-(

Type in the last name of the player in the search box. Click go. Click on the player's name. It give appearances of every position played for last year.

Yahoo doens't give players just "OF" eligibility. They give them a specific position. If they qualify for any one of LF, RF, CF, then they can play OF. Tex will only qualify at 1B/3B.

Somebody used the example of playing 10 games apiece at SS and 2B. That wouldn't make that player eligible at MI, since he isn't technically a SS or 2B.

Yahoo distinguishes between the OF positions so it's a tough break for Tex owners. But I'd rather have him at 3B anyways.

I stand corrected.

thanks guys i was most interested in his third base eligibility because i am in a 15 team keeper with CI and MI positions and I really liked his flexibility with 1st and 3rd.
