I think Drew is the safer bet because he steals bases. Going to be harder for Hardy to bring a ton of fantasy value because he doesn't steal at all.

Drew has way more talent but its pretty much his rookie year aside form the cup of coffe last year. he's still adjusting.
i'd go Drew but the numbers at season's end will be close. Drew is a future stud at the position though

yea i agree i'd say drew, he had a good partial season in 06 when hardy averages at .250 up to date. drew seems to have more potential but lke high heater said, the numbers by the end of the season will be close

Drew's minor league numbers actually indicate he won't be that great a thief in the majors. Highest totals was 3 at Tucson in 342 at-bats. His minor league career ended at 6 SB/7 CS.

hmm I didn't know that, people always say he's fast and gonna steal bases for some reason. I'd probably take Hardy then.

I'd go Hardy, as well.
He's a little more seasoned and seems to have adjusted

But he didn't spend much time at all in the minors, so that is a rather limited sample size. However i agree that I don't think he is going to steal tons of bases.

Interesting topic because I have both of these guys sharing my starting spot. At the beginning of the year I assumed Drew would be much better but Hardy has been better to date. I am however going to start Drew the remainder of the week. I assume he'll heat up after the walk off homer. I want to think it will be Drew but Hardy has been suprising.
