Felix Hernandez: on track for May 4th start

Postby The Big Train » Thu Apr 26, 2007 6:38 am

According to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, some potentially good news for those of you that own Felix...

Felix Hernandez threw on the side before Wednesday's game and came out of it fine. Hernandez, who is on the disabled list with soreness in his right forearm, will probably throw a bullpen session this weekend and is scheduled to start in Yankee Stadium on May 4, the first day he's eligible to come off the disabled list.

to be honest my pitching is hurting without him, but would rather have this pushed back and have him healthy for the rest of the season then have the m's rush him back to make a specific deadline

I have bad luck when it comes to signatures that the person either gets traded or hurt...in this case I hope he gets traded.

Why couldn't he be facing some cupcake team his first game back? I don't know whether to start him against the Yankees.

Still, this is good news for Felix owners. Let's hope our first big scare will be our last.
