What were the results of the MRI? I have only heard he had one, and now the rumours? Maybe there was what could be considered damage, but their seeing if its inflammation?

Anyway, I think it's tough to say. I'm certainly hoping for closer to the mid-May estimate than July. !+)

I believe the Yahoo note is from RotoWorld. However, I probably should have investigated further before I waived him this morning. :-o

Actually the Yahoo note is from Rotowire ;-D

Apr 29 Updating previous items, the Long Beach Press-Telegram's Tony Jackson reports Los Angeles Dodgers SP Jason Schmidt (shoulder) is nowhere close to being ready to come off the disabled list when eligible Monday, April 30. The Dodgers have not put any official timelines on Schmidt's estimated return, but all signs point to him being out for at least another month. He has yet to be cleared to resume baseball activities because of continued symptoms of shoulder bursitis. "It's going to be a little bit of a slow process for him to build back up to the point where he will be able to throw," said Dodgers manager Grady Little.

Interesting article here on his drop in velocity beginning last year. Had I known this I probably wouldn't have drafted him where I did at 11. This article leads me to believe that even when he does come back if he is is going to be successful it will not be as a power pitcher. Time to cut bait for me

Good article. I am not kicking myself as much for dumping him so quickly now.

Only time will tell I guess.......
