Please rate--Newbie -- I know I need pitching...

How should I mess around with my lineup? I'm a first-timer, so other than the current stats I don't really know much about how much players are worth in terms of other players...I know my pitching needs some work though.

I was thinking of trading away ARod (not sure if that might be taboo) since his value can't get any higher, but I'd like to use him to beef up
my pitching and outfield. Can anyone just suggest a hypothetical pairing that might be worth ARod? I really have no idea. Thanks for any help, and I promise that I will attempt to help others (if possible!).

if your going to move ARod right now, i would accept nothing less then Santana + a little more.

your hitting is absolutely amazing

i would see if i could pull something like ARod + Beckett for Santana + a stud closer if he has one.

i am NOT SOLD on beckett
