No, probably not yet.
It really depends on roster size, configuration, and who you currently have. If you have a potential closer, or a Henry Owens type guy, he may be worth a risk, or if you have space to stash him as a potential future closer. It's all relative.

Is that a fair assumption?
In looking at his Yahoo! Game Log, he hasn't had ANY hold opportunities...
4/11 - Came into the game in the 7th inning with the Angels winning, 2-1.
4/13 - Came into the game in the 5th inning with the White Sox winning, 6-2.
4/17 - Came into the game in the 5th inning with the Yankees winning, 8-3.
4/21 - Came into the game in the 7th inning with the Devil Rays winning, 6-5.
4/26 - Came into the game in the 10th inning against the Rangers with the score tied, 7-7.

Point taken. But I have to assume there are better ratio guys out there in most standard 12 team leagues that are 5x5 with an average bench.
I picked him up a couple days ago. He's owned in 6% of Sportsline leagues.
Turnbow is owned in 18% Howry is owned in 10% Heilman is owned in 9% Coffey is owned in 8% Pineiro is owned in 8%
etc.
* He has been a K machine his entire career (70+ ks in 60 innings last year and a K/9 of nearly 11 since 2004) * His big problem last year was walks, but that was anomolous of his prior career (nearly 5 K/9 last year but about 3.4 prior to that) * Borowski sucks. We all know that. Even the Indians know that. They didn't want him to be their closer. The only reason he is their closer is because Foulke retired. * Borowski is a free agent after this year. Not only is Cabrera a must have in keeper leagues, but Borowski will probably be gone (at the latest) by August * After tonight, Cabrera is at 15ks and 3 walks in 10 2/3 innings * He will outpitch Zumaya this year.
Everyone of these guys were drafted in my leagues. But those are straight leagues. Just another example of why I don't like mixed leagues. It's so easy to find someone in those leagues, no need to study and learn ALL the players.
His strikeout rate certainly is amazing this year, but keep in mind that he's pretty low on the Indians' bullpen depth chart. He's entering games when the Indians are losing or when the game is tied in extra innings. I guess that means he'll have vulture win opportunities, but you can get somewhat frustrated as a Cabrera owner because you might not see him even get into a game in a given week. At least for now he's not going to give you many holds or vulture saves, just a good ERA/WHIP and many strikeouts. Maybe management will figure out that he needs to be in the 7th and 8th inning instead of Roberto Hernandez and Betencourt (though the latter ain't too bad, either).
