Favorite Home Run Verbs

Postby pokeyjoe » Wed Apr 25, 2007 9:47 pm

It's easy to say someone hit a home run, but what other verbs do you guys use instead? I've been known to say that a player: popped one, jacked one, slammed one, cranked one out, blasted one, and my personal favorite, beasted one. I've probably said other ones too. Any personal favorites?

Hamilton just hit a BOMB.

thats what I usually say. not really a verb, but a noun.
Life is like riding an elevator. It has a lot of ups and downs and someone is always pushing your buttons.
