When runners get on base and are standing there what they talk about with the feilders? Do they chit chat about the game? Ask about the other clubs fitness room? Or talk trash to each other? Just kinda curious
“Never argue with a idiot, because first they will bring you down to their level. Then beat you with experience.”
I've read interviews and stuff with players and they all say they ask them about their kids, wives, families, etc. Probably just shoot the breeze over at first base. The beauty of baseball
"Oh, that Lankford and McGee, the trio of 'em. They're a one-man wrecking crew."
I do wonder. I remember at one all-star game Jimmy Rollins was on second and chatting with the shortstop. He asked them who they played after the break and he said you guys. Made it look like Rollins was too cool to know who he played after the break.
Hal·la·day, n. 1. every fifth day in Philadelphia. 2. a day of rest for the bullpen. 3. innings eater. 4. doc. 5. ace.
