I was thinking the same #&$%*^$ thing over lunch as I watched Rocky after Rocky round the bases like they were on a merry-go-round.

His replacement, Mabry, even got in on the fun with a HR.

Yeah, was just a regular day off with the night game last night.

I do think Atkins is a little hyped up going into this season, more so then he should be. He's going to get the runs and rbis because of his lineup. But his BA and HR's were both very high last season. Atkins BA will go up from where it is right now but he is not a home run hitter, there is nothing in his past that says he's ever going to hit 29 home runs again. In the minors he never hit more then 15 home runs in a given season, and in the pros he hit 13 in his only season. (29 came out of no where.)

16-21 hrs 100-110runs 95-105rbi with a 295-310 BA sounds reasonable.

Well, a lot of guys (myself included) drafted him hoping last year was just a prelude to his 27-year breakout. It's way to early to tell at this point, but I'm thinking you may be right about his power fluke.
