He is dominating the PCL in a similar fashion as Lincecum, but the Brewers rotation has been very good this season and it would seem as though it would take a serious slump from Vargas or an injury to the top 4 in order for him to get the call up, unless he goes to the pen.
I wish I knew. I am extremely high on him. I know I'm in the minority, but I like him more than Lincecum or Hughes. He seems to fly under the radar more than the high profile prospects.
As to his ETA, I would imagine that you're right about a callup not being likely unless there's an injury or a major slump...

Ben Sheets-S- Brewers Ben Sheets appears to be questionable to make his next start after straining his right groin Wednesday.
Sheets was hurt on his final pitch of the third inning and didn't come back out for the fourth. "It wasn't that it was excruciating, by any means," Sheets said. "There was really no sense in pushing through it and taking that chance right now, especially with the weather the way it was." The Brewers will have a better idea tomorrow when Sheets will pitch next. It's possible we could see Yovani Gallardo if Sheets goes on the DL. If he misses just one start, Carlos Villanueva could receive the assignment. Apr. 25 - 8:19 pm et

I saw him pitch last year in A ball for the Brevard Manatees. Nasty breaking stuff (iirc, it's a slider primarily), but he was facing the Daytona Cubs, who had next to nobody on their roster. He was very impressive though. I'm definitely going to grab him if he comes up for any amount of time.
