Under this scoring system it looks like closers would be more valuable then starters.

Generally wins are worth more then saves but here, they're worth the same amount.

The best closers can get 40+ saves. The best starters get close to 20 wins.

Less chance of negative points from ER and BBI (I'm assuming that's walks per inning) and a big advantage for closers without an innings category to balance out APP.

Good set-up men like Scott Linebrink or Joel Zumaya would also be worthwhile to roster for the same reasons. They make even more appearances then closers to balance out the fact that they don't get as many saves.

Good point, Top'. I never looked into getting setup guys for APP points, but I may look in to that now.

Closer are indeed coveted (as i would assume for most leagues) and everyone in my league jumps on them quickly!
