yea, the big risk with him is he stands too close to the plate and gets beaned a lot..

has cut short his development and production time, and seems like it will always be a risk.

intelligent guy who playing the obp role, leadoff role well, but mini-reyes has got 420 center field homerun power. ideal spot might eventually be 3rd.

He hit a HR out of Wrigley today into the street... with the wind blowing in. So he has the power for sure.

I think he'll go over on all three. His power is developing nicely, and his plate discipline is clearly improving. He'll get 5+ sbs a month so 30 should be no problem.

No way Rickie Weeks hits over 20 HR. He is a speed guy. If his BA stays over .270 then he will steal 30+ bags and possibly 40. If his BA dips under .250 then he will be too low in the order to steal 30.

He will hit over 20 HR's at some point in his career for sure, his power is for real. Might not be this year but it will be soon.

Weeks is not considered a speed guy, but rather a player with the potential to develop 30 HR power down the road who has pretty good speed. There's a much better chance he hits 20 HR this season than steals 40 bags.

I heard of comparisons to a young Sheffield. Future ex 2B with a quick bat and ball jumping off the bat...

Judging from that HR, I would agree. He crushed that. 8-o

This is just an incorrect evaluation of his talent.

This quote, and...

...this quote are closer to the truth. I would go over on 20 HR this year. Probably not too much over, this year. He has a lot of fantasy value, even if his average isn't spectacular. He'll score 100+ runs, and steal 30 bases as well.
