Watching Baseball tonight. They show Pujols limping and wincing on a base hit. Knee.

Anyone with any word about this? I can't seem to find anything about it anywhere and I didn't see Baseball Tonight.

What were they saying about it? Or is this just speculation and probably not all that serious?

Did not see BT, but Im not sure. There is no mention on Rotoworld or Rotowire and usually they pick up things amongst the quickest. In the play by play they show him gettin the single near the end of the game, then staying in to get the force out at 2nd, so it may not be anything if he stayed in to run the force out..

Just saw it again, I can provide a bit more info. 8th inning, Pujols singles. On the way to first, his stride clearly shifts to a limp. He visibly favors his leg, wincing and hobbling.

BT then mentioned something about how an official with STL later said "his knee was barking." Then the baseball tonight guy said, "that doesn't sound fun," or something to the effect.

The point to the story: Pujols was running. His run broke into an obvious limp, and the story is that something was wrong with his knee.

It's very peculiar that this story hasn't broken across the internet.

Perhaps it wasn't his knee and was just a cramp of some sort...I would assume we would have heard more at this point...I hope I am right.

It is weird, yeah. I've seen the same replay on ESPN 3 times tonight.

I'm definitely not doubting that it happened, or that he isn't hurting. Just questioning why it isn't a bigger deal... :-?

i can't find anything on this besides on SC/BBTN. wonder what the deal is. from what i saw, it sorta looked like his hammy, but i'm not a doctor.

Sportscenter noted that Pujols "tweaked his knee and left the game" just now.
