Looking for comparision of stat services

Postby crapshooter » Sat Jan 10, 2004 9:23 am

We have used Sportsline for years but have heard good things about TQ Stats. What I'm looking for is someone who has used BOTH and can give a fair comparison. I realize TQ is a little cheaper, but that's not really an issue in our leagues. I'm more interested in accuracy, live scoring, transaction ease, and support.

Any input will be appreciated.

Played TQ Stats and Sportsline last year.

Accuracy: Even. Didn't have a problem.
Live Scoring: Sportsline. Best on the net.
Transaction ease: Both easy IMO.
Support: TQ Stats. Sportsline you have to email 'em in the morning on Tues/Wed/Thurs to get an answer.
Look: Sportsline. Great lay out -- it is what seperate them from the rest.
Stats: Sportsline allows Custom Stat Reports -- Any stat, you name it they got it. Great tool to help prepare for other leagues as well.

I think TQ is $99.95 if I'm not mistaken. Sportsline will be $120. I personally would take Sportsline. It's only like a $2 difference per owner.

I haven't used TQ Stats yet, but Sportsline was way too buggy last year. I'll bump this so someone who has played both can help. :-)

What do they offer that the other two don't? The live scoring is a big deal for our league.

You have to be kidding! At a cost of either $39 or $49 dollars a TEAM for a 13 team league is outrageous. It can't be THAT much better than Sportsline or TQ stats.

Actually, I can't comment on TQstats since I've never used it, but USAStats is worth the money.
