Tomko sure got off to a bad start, proving that he is a head case, but his second half has been worth his salary alone. He has certainly been a major component of the fuel that the Giants have been running on down the stretch.

I picked him up at the All-Star break in my NL-only league. He has been fantasy gold.

He's turning into the decent #2 guy that the Giants have been looking for since Ortiz left.

Hopefully he doesn't get resigned only to put up ugly numbers in the first half again then come on strong during the stretch. Even though it is nice to have someone at their best in September, it is odd when his skills are night and day in the begining and end of the season.
