Are you mad at me because I was ripping on Barry Bonds in the celebration thread? First I'd say get used to it and second I'd say no offense intended, just having fun.
As for Wolf, yes, I agree you can't "predict" anything, but I'm local to LA and see a lot of the games and pay attention to a lot of the quotes. When the guy says he's healthy, I believe him, because he has so straight-forwardly said that he feels great. There are a lot of pitchers coming back from injury who don't sound that confident (ie Gagne), and given his performance to back up his words I simply think he'll give you a lot more than you might otherwise expect from a TJ guy.

I was referring to Chrisy's post to you. I felt he was a little rude, especially considering you're new and have the "L" next to your name.
I was just sticking up for you (not that you need me too).
I agree with your assessment on Wolf, BTW.

I picked him up this week and went ahead and started him tonight.
I'll share the blame with you. I took a late round flyer on him in most of my leagues. With Schmidt going down in another, I scooped up Wolf as fast as I could in that one too.
I still think he will be fine as a back of the fantasy rotation guy though. First inning tonight was just plain ugly though.
EDIT: Behind that nasty 4 hits, 4 ER, 1 K first inning, he went: 4 innings, 1 hit, 1 walk, 4 K's. Nice recovery. Another couple of innings and it's not a total meltdown. Stings, but I've had much worse starts this year.
Second EDIT: And I jinxed him. Solo shot the next inning.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Obviously giving up 5 earned runs isn't good, but I'm impressed at the way he held it together after that. A lot of pitchers fall apart after a first inning like that. Even though this wasn't a good outing, I'm in no way sorry I picked him up.
oowwww weeee... after reading some of you guys advice i went and picked up him yesterday, not thinking i should sit him for this outing, i was pumped as i'm low man in wins column.. but hey.. my fault for starting him.. ahhhh
