The Best Upcoming Baseball Video Game

Postby shortsavage » Fri Jan 09, 2004 7:48 pm

I got All-Star Baseball 2004 for X-mas. I like it, but I want to know about the other games that are coming out this spring before I gbuy All-Star Baseball 2005.

I am looking for a game where I can limit the amount of teams and basically replicate the rosters of my 14 team keeper league. This did not exactly go over too well with All-Star Baseball 2004, but I could do it if I wanted to kill 20 hours.

Any thoughts?

I agree with whats been said. MVP was good last year, even though I never saw WSB with Giambi on the cover, and I dont see MVP being anything but better.

EA is starting to really monopolize teh VG industry with madden, NCAA Football, NBA Live etc.

I know Pujols is the cover boy this year also.

One more thing, I know the rosters for MVP 2003 were accurate as of 1/23/03, so hopefully all the major movement will be done by then in 2004 so we dont lose Maddux etc.....what does EA do with guys like that when they are FA?

I guess what I meant was that there are going to actually be no competitors at all sooner or later...no Aklaim, no Sega, et al.

It most likely won't have the last roster changes. i know that last one didn't and I am sure they are completely done programming the game right now and all they have to do is ship it so I would seriously doubt them have Maddux on the Cubs or even Vlad on the Angels. If I get it I will make a couple trades and push them through myself to make the teams right.
