IMPACT
Guzman gets the nod over Carlos Marmol. Since he could gain a permanent rotation spot with a strong showing, he'd be worth taking a chance on in NL-only leagues

I think Guzman is someone to keep an eye on. His numbers in middle relief this year are excellent. 8 K's, 1 BB, 2.45 ERA in 7 innings. He had a 4.04 ERA in 15 AAA starts last year with good peripherals.

Does anyone have opinions of him?

hes got some real talent. in leagues 12+ teams id look at him or if there are alot of pitching spots. if he looks good 1st start i may pick him up an im only in a 10 man league.

He'll at least get you a lot of K's. I personally think he'll stick in the rotation this time around. He was rated up there with Prior, Wood, and Zambrano a few years back before he had a couple of injuries.

i jus dropped iwamura for him in my keeper. takin a chance, my team has been terrible not to mention injured so i had to get rid of iwamura


injuries to date.. Figgins, Ramon Hernandez, Carpenter, Hermida, Matt Kemp - ouch..
