Hmmm, I did project him to get 3 triples with errors, but no inside the parkers. Of course, one of those could be scored incorrectly...

He is still good for 30 bombs. Just be happy that he has learned to hit for average even when he isnt hitting for power. He is going to have a great year.

'roids or not - I have no opinion on that - he was a lifetime ~.270 hitter up to 2004, then he breaks out with a HUGE 1st half in 2005, hitting like .390, then back to .280 in the 2nd half.

that's ONE HALF-SEASON of incredible hitting (and 8 FULL seasons of pedestrian hitting), yet most folks expect him to battle for the batting crown year in and out... he's doing it thus far, but I don't see it for the whole year - even half the year...

then there's the power numbers - nearly 30hr/yr from 2000 to 2004, then 46 in 2005. In 2006 he was hurt, but was on pace for ~25, then this year zero.

Enigma wrapped in a riddle. Talk about a tough guy to value.

oh yeah steriods???? are you kidding...hes 6-5 and is only around 240, and has been pretty much since the begining...his power has ALWAYS been there...but roids give me a break...
