I cant remember how many times dusty has nefi bunt with 2 strikes only to have nefi strikeout.. Dusty was once a great manager but the game has passed him by. Plus he just doesnt have any character.

I just can’t see any reason to really gripe about how he handled that team. Sure you can armchair quarterback his decisions, but ultimately the success of that team had very little to do with Dusty, or any other manager I mentioned.

I love the Cubbies and all, but I'm realistic about who they are.

Cubs announcers just announced Mark is done for the year.
He will not pitch again in 2007

I heard on 670 The Score (or maybe it was ESPN radio, one of those) that he is done until late spring training next year.

This from Cubs.com - Andrews performed a debridement of Prior's right rotator cuff, as well as repaired the labral and capsular injuries in his right shoulder.


So it appears that they at least fixed something.
