CBS Position Eligibility

Say your league settings for position eligibility are:
5 games this year at a position
10 games the previous year at a position

Say you have a player who is 1B eligible in 2007 but, doesn't play 10 games at that position this year (so supposidly loosing his 1B eligiblity). Supposidly he'll be available at that position in 2008 as long as you don't move him out of the position on your roster.

Is that correct?

I've heard about such a glitch on some server or another and I do believe it was the CBS database that allowed it. Someone said that they had kept Miguel Cabrera for last year and left him in the OF even though he had lost his eligibility. If you move the player out of the spot, they can never be reinsterted, but until you do, their stats count, from what I've heard.

Yes, thats correct. As a commish of a CBS league, I did a check up prior to our draft (keeper league). Another example that I recall finding for our league was Adam Dunn at 1B

That's correct, but it's a glitch in the system and if an owner in my league was exploiting the glitch I'd change their roster.
