I'm betting NHsportsfan's engine spits out a B for Zambrano's start vs Milwaukee tonight, but given his recent command and velocity struggles, I'm personally strongly thinking of sitting him. Although, he did have a very nice start vs StL which was tossed due to weather, then came back on 3 days to struggle against the might Giants.

My highly scientific gut says Z grades should be...

Win: D
Ks: B+
WHIP: C
ERA: D+

Any other speculations?

I got extremely lucky this week facing a guy who has Webb (bad start) Dice-K (bad start) and I am behing in W's and K's badly, but am safe with ERA and WHIP for the week. SHould I start either Perez @ PHI tonight or Weaver @ SEA. Weaver has been hot, but the Mariners have to be due for a win tonight after dropping the first two against LAA. Thanks for your help and WHIR as always

Wow I'm really glad the ratings weren't put up today. I only have Clemens, Zambrano, Francis, Oswalt, and Snell on my pitching staff.

Well... I was pretty darn close for Z:

6.1 IP, 0 W, 7.11 ERA, 1.58 WHIP, and 6 Ks

...and I started him anyway.

At least I got a few Ks.

I've had some things come up in my life so that I'm not going to be able to continue posting rankings at this time. I don't expect to be back the rest of this season anyhow and it's too early to tell if I'll return to posting rankings next year.

I'm OK, but I have to reprioritize some things and I can't continue the daily time commitment to this thread. It's actually felt very freeing the past couple of days to not go through the grind of churning out the numbers.

Thanks to all who have participated this season and offered your kind words. I wish I could keep helping you out and do the other things I need to as well but it's just not possible at this time.
