This guy was a popular pre-seaon sleeper at catcher. Does anyone still think that he will turn this season around to be a top 10 catcher?

I really hope he turns it around. I have him in a CBS league where we have to play two catchers and the lineup is set for the week. Once Texas gets going, hopefully he will follow.

As long as he doesn't lose his job he'll eventually be fine. Iannetta is going through the same thing. He's seeing 4.2 pitches per PA so seems like his discipline is fine, he's just pounding everything into the ground.

And until he turns it around, we can all just enjoy our .098 hitting catcher. Ouch, this guy is just killing me. I have him paired with Mauer so he's basically just sucking away any benefits I get from Joe.

He hit a couple balls in the air last night, thats a good sign.
Game rained out today, best game he's had in a while.
Edit : HE GOT A HIT!
Hitting a cool .115 now.

I was excited about that huge 1 for 2 day but now he's started 0 for 2 (pop out, K) today already. Is there any starting player (any position) in the game performing more poorly than Gerald right now?

Ryan Langerhans is in a starting platoon in left for the Braves and is hitting .054 in 37 AB.
