Your offense is phenomenal. You may want to see if you can get an upgrade over Piazza, but who knows, maybe he'll start hitting soon. Give him another week or two to see how he's doing.

At first I wondered about all those closers too, but now I see how it plays into your strategy. The only thing I question is that a few of these closers are pretty shaky and/or dealing with injuries (Dempster, Gordon, Putz). You might be better off packaging Markakis with one of those relievers for Papelbon or something on that order, someone who will strengthen you in that category. If you can't get someone to take Markakis (which you should be able to), you may want to try and deal Atkins, but make absolutely sure you get fair value in return.

The nice thing for you is that you're going to have a surplus of offense to strike a deal for an SP if you need one later. Teams always get desperate to add some offensive punch, so you're in good shape. I honestly wouldn't do a thing right now.

Okay first i disagree with any theory. If u have a GS limit u want great starts every time out, thus u need to get quality starting pitching. U dont have enough!

As for too many closers, again u need quality closers. Your top 3 are solid for now, but the extra ones may come back to bite your era/whip.

As for the offence, depending on League size u may need more power.
Just traded BButler, BWood & JLoney for Mark Teixeira, Ryan Theriot & Renyel Pinto in a DYNASTY LEAGUE. Big gamble I know!

I like your team. I think getting ahead in saves and then trading away some closers for a top tier starter is a must though.

As was said above, if you have a limit on games started, you need as many great starts as possible.

Thanks for your help.

Tx for the utility help

O is solid but I would trade some of the closers for some starters. They should make some nice trade bait.

The offense is solid, but you could use a top 10 SP to anchor the staff. Sabathia and Schilling are dependable, but you might be able to package a solid SP + RP to get a bonafide ace.
