My fear is he pitches ok for five or so innings but doesn't factor into the decison.

I'd be shocked to see him go more than six, and it could be five if he runs his count up. But he's come back from these stints before in fairly clean fashion. I'm starting him in my H2H; in roto, I might think twice.
