Rich Harden, SP OAK
News: The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting Rich Harden will not make his start on Tuesday at Baltimore. However, he will not go on the 15-day disabled list and reportedly felt great after a side session on Sunday. However, manager Bob Geren wants to get him back in the rotation at the end of the week. He does not want to push it, especially early in the season.
Analysis: It hasn't been officially announced who will be replacing him, however it is believed Brad Halsey will be recalled. He was scratched from his start for Triple-A Sacramento on Saturday and he did not make the start on Sunday. So the Athletics were likely keeping him as an option just in case Harden was not ready. It still sounds as if Harden will work in Fantasy Week 4 (April 23-29) from what Geren is saying, but he will lose his two-start status unfortunately.
