Apr 26 Glaus was scheduled to take batting practice on Thursday and the Blue Jays hope to have him back this weekend.
Advice: Glaus was placed on the disabled list a few weeks ago with a bone spur in his left heel. Glaus was hitting .333 in eight games. The Blue Jays are starting a four-game home series with the Texas Rangers on Friday with Glaus scheduled to come off the DL Saturday.
Apr 25 Jordan Bastian, of Toronto.BlueJays.MLB.com, reports Toronto Blue Jays 3B Troy Glaus (heel) will join the team in New York Wednesday, April 25, and take part in batting practice and fielding drills. If everything goes well, the team would likely activate prior to their game Saturday, April 28, against the Texas Rangers.
