Gagne - Gone Injured again!

A part of me wishes he would simply implode so he can quit taking up a roster spot. I am fortunate to have Otsuka, but he is only good to me if Gagne goes down.

Gagne, either stay healthy (apparently impossible), stay on the DL so I can stash you or blow out something but good so I can end this nightmare. !+)

I gave Gagne the boot. One save while active - which I didn't even get credit for since I didn't know he was active yet - and on the DL AGAIN. I dropped him and grabbed Frasor - looks like he'll be the man in Toronto through the end of June and maybe longer. Gagne is too damned frustrating... :-t

First of all, Gagne hasn't even been a fantasy option the past few years so it's not like everyone was wasting picks on him last year.

Second, everyone knew going into this year what they were getting with Gagne. I knew I wasn't drafting him unless he was available as a big-time flier at the end. He wasn't because some dope picked him early... in the one league I'm in they got fed up and dropped him.

So, I have the DL space... I picked him and I'll give him the shot. He's a free pitcher and I've got at least 2 guys that I could easily drop for giving Gagne a go at it. I'd expect him to be back once he's elegible and probably end up back on the DL within a month. But, I think he's good for at least a few saves without the huge risk of inflating my ERA and WHIP like Henry Owens or David Weathers.
If you're a battery, you're either working or you're dead....
