Oh yeah I saw this on the gameday. They put in Aki and I immediately picked him up. With Gagne you have to assume he will miss some time.

post game press conference they said it is a hip strain and he is day to day.... we'll see if it's really day to day or not

rangers GM just said during a radio interview that Gagne is hitting the DL.
My guess is it's mostly for roster space, since he wouldnt be available to pitch for atleast a week.
Gagne has said his injurty is a "sore butt"

Of course I'm not wondering..that would just be wrong. Almost to the point that had I accepted it shortly before the injury I'd have to seriously contemplate asking the commish to kill it.

Though, gagne has said he feels like he'll be fine in a few days and he threw today and said he felt better.
But the rangers are being VERY cautious with him.
