Is it Cole Hamels good? Seriously, I need to know some more about him. Two nice outings in a row 21 K's in 2 games is looking pretty attractive. I'm this close to dropping Chuck James for him but I'll wait and see.

check out his highlight today, all his strike outs were on change ups. And it looks NASTY!

I still wouldn't say he can post a 9k/9ip ratio, but I'm fairly confident he can post a 7k/9, which is very good.
with only 1-2 BB a game as well ;-) ;-D

It will be interesting to see how he does. His change up is very nasty and if he can keep hitters off balance, then he should continue to be successful. I'm reserving him against top offensive teams but definitely like what he is doing so far. Throwing strikes = key.

Thats what he does very well. He has never walked guys he has a lot of control and would rather them put it in play for the defense to handle than walk someone

Is it a bad sign to have too many TB players on your roster? Al Reyes, Kazmir, Upton and Shields... :-o

Not being a Homer, but seriously all of the following are viable options:

Crawford
Rocco
Young
Upton
Iwamura (when Healthy)
Wigginton
Kazmir
Shields
Reyes

I only have Iwamura and Shields, but I'd gladly take Crawford, Kaz, Rocco, etc..

If the Rays can hang on to all this talent, they could be very good in a few years.

If only they could play pickup basketball games with other teams and count those wins, they'd be one of the best teams in the league

Harris is viable in bigger/deeper leagues and AL
