Outside of one start this year he has looked great. He had some bad luck in the begining and should have had another W last time out, but the Rays are scoring runs and of he keeps going at least 7 he should get that win too.

Shields is always going to have a nice amount of strikeouts because his changeup is so damn good.

Ok, I'm going out on a limb and saying he's every bit as good as Kaz. So glad I started him tonight.

Is it Cole Hamels good? Seriously, I need to know some more about him. Two nice outings in a row 21 K's in 2 games is looking pretty attractive. I'm this close to dropping Chuck James for him but I'll wait and see.

check out his highlight today, all his strike outs were on change ups. And it looks NASTY!

I still wouldn't say he can post a 9k/9ip ratio, but I'm fairly confident he can post a 7k/9, which is very good.
