Tony Mullane would be correct if I didn't say "full-time" pitcher. Mullane often played various positions in the field so he doesn't qualify. Good guess though.

"Full-time" is pretty vague. Cy Young played 5 games at first base. Was he a "part-time" pitcher?
If the question meant a player who never played a game anywhere other than pitcher, it should say that directly. Just my $0.02.

Sorry, I probably should have defined it more clearly, but nonetheless Mullane was clearly not a full-time pitcher and the correct answer clearly was.

I agree, I shouldn't have received credit for this. It should go to mclusky or nobody.

Sorry everybody. This is the first time I've been able to get on the forums in a week. The correct answer was Eddie Plank, which no one got.

For the record, I still think no one should have gotten a point for this question. Tony Mullane played several positions in the field and was clearly not a full-time pitcher. If the consensus is that the wording of my question was ambiguous and Mullane is an acceptable answer, then still only mclusky should receive credit since he was the first to answer Mullane. But again, I don't think anyone should have gotten a point for this one. The answer was Eddie Plank.
