I just got into a debate w/ a guy in my league...
Which is better:
Adrian Gonzo as a 20th rounder or Grady Sizemore as a 2nd....

I got Grady in the 2nd and picked up Adrian as a free agent after the draft. I'm surprised Adrian didn't get drafted since I'm in San Diego in a league with a bunch of Padres fans. Grady will be worth it, but value-wise, Adrian in the 20th or as a FA is better.

I offered Delgado for him straight up and it got rejected.
I guess I'm not the only one who thinks he's in for a big year (or maybe I'm just not the only one who now has no faith in Delgado).

Just like shelton in '06, right?
He is better than Shelton, and will likely hit 30/100, but he is not a lock for that.

I love these threads about people when they are hot. Such high expectation. Where's the one about Dunn stealing 25-30 bases a few weeks ago?

that is quite possibly the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Gonzalez went 83/24/82 .300. When did Shelton ever do that over the course of a whole season? Not to mention that Gonzalez was a first overall pick, so the talent has always been there to begin with.

I'd have to say Gonzo in the 20th is better.
