he's a sell high for sure, i dont think he will regress to the mean but i'm gonna try to get a servicable 1B back plus a pitcher or something.

i'm pretty sure you could get more then what you got him for right now. PETCO isnt that great a hitter park either so the warning signs are there.

not a knock on him i think hes a great 1B but if you have the chance to sell high and get a good return back do it.

I think he meant that he wont regress to the point where he finishes with ordinary numbers, but he wont keep up his current 40hr 120rbi pace.

That's just it though...everyone is projecting 28-30 homeruns and 100 rbi's. I don't see any reason why he can't have upper 30's for hr, and over 115 rbi's.

i think it's mostly because people don't like how he plays in petco.

After the swings he put on pitches from the Unit I'm starting to wonder if he is the next 40 HR hitter. By the by, Petco was 16th in HR park factor last season.

And it ranked 30th in 2004 and 2005. This and fact that he hits in a line-up with little protection makes 40HR a big reach. I have him in my $$ league though so I hope I am wrong.

I really think you guys are going a bit overboard on his power. I'm thinking .290/24/95. Maybe this hot start could get him to 30, but I really doubt it.
