hmmm day for going green (if you catch my drift) and the Red Sox wear green uniforms :-?

Those might be some of the ugliest uniforms I've ever seen. Not exactly 70's Astros ugly, but certainly up there. :-P

That was because the team was honoring legendary Boston Celtics coach Red Auerbach, who died last year at the age of 89.

Yeah, the white sox sporting shorts for a season was about the worst ever.

I still say the old Astros "pajama" uniforms were the worst.

I didn't know why they were wearing the green Unis, so I just assumed it had something to do with Earth Day coming up Sunday. I'll be happy when they go back to the traditional red, but I think the Auerbach connection is cool. ;-D
