I like the pitching changes......Shields for Sowers, Wheeler for Padilla. Shields and Wheeler have K/IP right at 1. I know this wouldn't work in a roto league, but to me, ERA and WHIP are crapshoots in a Head to Head. Even the great pitchers get rocked every now and then, and for one week their ERA sucks. I'm following along that strategy myself.

I'm not sure if you should stay put on Akinori. He's gonna miss at least a month, and you never know what's going to happen. If I were you, I would rather pick up a quality pitcher on the DL list, like Kenny Rogers, B.J Ryan, or even Pedro. Hope it helps. I'm just saying you have more than enough third basemen to keep Akinori.

help me out?

Drop An Reyes... he's going to kill you in half of your pitching categories.

Blanton is off to a great start. He available?

Me now?

Thanks for the suggestions. Added a list of available free agents, are there any players you would suggest adding?

I would consider dropping Gordon for Tullowitski...He is hitting better and anyone hitting at the top of the Rockies lineup should put up good numbers. Also can never have enough backups at SS. Not sure about Zumaya. If you pickup anyone for him...pick up Lyon...he isnt a bad replacement and could get the closer job if Valverde struggles. Francis also wouldnt be a bad pickup to replace him.
