How come Jonny Gomes hasn't been getting AB's?

I think Gomes is expendable man. There is probably plenty on the waiver wire that can help you in multiple categories. He kills the BA....or at least he did when I had him last.

I've gotta think he's droppable. The DRays OF/DH situation is just too crowded with everyone healthy. They have to find ABs for Crawford, Baldelli, Dukes, Young, and Gomes. Gomes seems to be the odd man out.

Yeah I cut bait on Gomes in the first week. He's not worth owning.

I dropped Gomes, but I'd keep an eye on the situation. Dukes doesn't have any lock on playing time yet, 1B is also in play, and things may shake out over the season. I think he gets ABs eventually, maybe not in TB.
