How did he get the gun in then? :-?

According to FOX news, there is no real security at this facility. The expert they have on now is talking about how "there is the appearence of security, but no real security."

Why's that? Does Dan Rather work there? Is he making this up?

Nice try, but unless he's got hostages and licensed people are allowed to have guns on that property, it's way off base. ;-)

Let's just hope no one gets/got hurt this time.

My initial reaction is to just think that NBC airing those videos will inspire others

theres a school on the campus too and they are preventing the parents from accessing for their kids (understandable but imagien being one of those parents....)

Yeah, I realized that in my next post.

Still, I'd love to hear a story of a Texan just blowing away a nutjob and saving dozens.

Good stuff there... :-t

And it's also 4/20, which means it's the unofficial Great American Smokeout. :-D Oh wait, you just mentioned that. :-b

Yeah, I was quite surprised by this when I saw this on the TV while at lunch. Apparently, this guy is an employee there, but security is quite lax at the Space Center, which is fairly troubling seeing that should be a highly discreet area.
