I can't help your worries too much, but I can kind of confirm them for ya. Last year he started similarly slow--- worse maybe. He beats himself up pretty bad. I'm watching the game now actually. After his last at bat, a pop-up out, he grimaces and throws his bat to the ground. He puts a lot of pressure on himself. A few games ago after he popped out, he went into the dugout and used hit helmet to destroy a row of watter bottles.
On the upside, once he gets going, and he will, he's nonstop. His ceiling will be .315 with 45HR, his floor will be .285 with 30-32 HR.

Excellent post. I could use it with him and howard doing so poorly for me right now.
He is uber streaky. I wait a little longer than 2 and half weeks before worrying.
"I do not think baseball of today is any better than it was 30 years ago... I still think Radbourne is the greatest of the pitchers." John Sullivan 1914-Old athletes never change.
I think we're all worried. There is starting slow, and WOOO it's only Aprilism, but PK's numbers are bad and he's looking bad. I keep looking to bench him for Sexson, but he seems to hit the pitchers on those days well for his careeer, yet he still sucks so far. Last April he hit .360, 6 HR with a 1.073 OPS, his best of the year. and usually his HR totals are good when his average is down. It looks like June is historically his best month, so I'll hold until at least then.
