Not exactly timely news, but I just read that A-Rod made $44,896 per official AB last year. Unreal. If you are making that type of change, you BETTER have 10 homers in April.

Why start a thread about A-Rod? Jeter only makes about 3 million a year less than A-Rod and doesn't put up near the numbers.

A-Rod can't win no matter what he does, I guess.

Does that mean everyone making $22,000 per AB better hit 5 HRs in April?

So long as he does it on the field, I don't care how much he gets payed. It's just because non-Yankees fans are jealous that they don't have the money to attract players like him.
