I have heard he is a good upcoming prospect and is projected to be in the bigs by the end of this year. Ant thoughts?

Hes an okay prospect & should be called up at the very least by September. but with all the disarray in the Sox OF he may get the call earlier.


Hes definitely not this year thus far, tearing it up in the minors though.

He know will be a regular in the future though. Just needs a little more minor league seasoning.

It's quite the contrary actually. The Sox thought to have him starting sometime in the middle of this year, but with Erstad, Mackowiak and Anderson playing solid thus far, it may keep him in minors longer.

As for Sweeney, he is a great prospect. He just has to develop his power.
