Keeper Question

I play in a points based league where we get to keep 2 from the previous year. We have 8 in our league.

My current Roster (Keeper Candiates only) is
Zito
Mulder
Wolf
Millwood
J. Lopez
J. Thome
Renteria
Scheffield

I have wone the league now two years in a row but I am tempted to not keep anyone and start from Scratch.
Oswalt, Wood, Halladay would probably be out there but Is there one or two on this list that you would absolutely Keep?

It would come down to Thome/Sheff/Renteria for me. Only 2 keepers, I'd probably go with Thome/Sheff even though Renteria is a tough cut.

I agree because Thome and Sheff are gone within the first 15 picks in the mock drafts.

I'd say none of those pitchers will be going before the 3rd round.

I would keep Thome and Sheff too. That is a good start for your offense.

I don't understand the thinking of not using all your available keeper spots. If you give them up, in your league, do you get to draft before the first round, since you're not keeping anyone? If not, leaving a keeper slot open in a draft is like taking an extra 23rd rounder rather than keeping a 5th round player.

Yeah so if I don't keep anyone and everyone else in the league keeps two then I would have the first and only picks in the first and second rounds.

If someone just keeps one then thier name is thrown in to the order in the second round.
