I am in a 12 Team keeper league, 5X5 H2H. What would you do to improve this team? The draft is over so I have to wait to pick up any players when Yahoo starts up (I don't have a catcher).

Easy call for me if he has to drop someone. Lidge is the choice. Holds don't count in most 5x5 leagues, and Dotel is the closer in Houston.

i'd trade G. Anderson, Kevin Brown and Moyer for some better Closers and more speed (IE Crawford, Pierre type guy)

I agree with trevisc about trying to get a better closer. You will probably need another 1 to stay midlevel in saves. Also see if Matt Lecroy will be available when Yahoo opens up. If so he could be a great option at catcher.

I will start with the obvious, I agree that you need a catcher and some speed. Unlike the others, I am not overly impressed with your bench, and I think you could have done better in the pitching department, especially in a 12 team mixed league. I would get rid of all of the middle relievers and pick up a catcher, another reliever, starting pitching and/or at least 1 bench player.

RP - Matt Mantei-------------Closer for the Dbacks
Bench - Shawn Chacon ----Closer for the Rockies
Bench - Armando Benetiz --Closer for the Marlins
Bench - Justin Speier--------Should get the closing job for Toronto.

The others are starters. Lidge is the only middle reliever unless by some strange chance Speier doesn't get the closing job.

I agree that I'm not impressed with his bench.

Starters are fine. Not great, but not terrible.

i would look for some guys that get steals, and definitely get a catcher, but thats nothing new.
