Glaus seems to be the player I see Wood compared to the most. Lots of power, lots of K's...

More speed than glaus which is what makes him valueable. He has the highest power ceiling of all of this years top prospects (higher than Young, higher than Gordon, higher than Butler). He reminds me more of Soriano (with less speed). He is a skinny kid, who when/if he fills out will be a monster. He is capable of 40 homer/20 steal seasons. He might not have a .300 batting average but that kind of power/speed is always welcome on my team.

Looks like the door has been reopened for a call-up. I was suprised when they didn't call him up after Kendrick got hurt. I'd be even more suprised if they don't call him up now.

Juan Rivera-OF- Angels

Angels transferred outfielder Juan Rivera from the 15- to the 60-day disabled list.

The move opens up a 40-man roster spot for Brandon Wood. Rivera isn't expected back from a broken leg until after the All-Star break.

reminds me in just about every facet of his game of Troy Glaus.

i expect him to have the same type of cieling coupled with the same type of K's and BA.

He should be much better then Glaus in terms of speed though. 20 SBs is a probability.

Struck out in his first at bat. pulled the count to 3-2 though. He looked solid.
