Yes it does. He already knows how to play left field. It would lower the burden of learning a new position in a tough as hell park...thus letting him concentrate more on hitting the ball.

I think that's overrated.

Didn't affect him much last year. Sure, center is different, but he's already shown the ability to learn a new position without any adverse affects on his hitting.
