Some interesting thoughts. I am sure she would have something to say about this thread, like:
And then this afternoon I get reminded that there’s a huge subset of the audience that could care less about King Felix, Mariner, source of hope, because they’re interested in “F. Hernandez, RHP, Commodity, $25.” Cuz he gets strikeouts, donchaknow, and those are worth points.
Points. Points? We don’t have “points” in baseball. How about wins?
BTW Part of the reason i drafted Felix was because i am a huge fan of this kid. I am not a 100% cold hearted jerk. More like 90%.
Yeah I don't know if you were taking the side of this journalist but I read the article and she was only interested in his well-being from a baseball standpoint. The guy is a human being....that being said it's really going to weaken my pitching staff if he doesn't come back at 100 %. I've owned this guy every year he's been in the majors in a re-draft league and I thought this was going to be the year he started playing like the best pitcher of the next decade....if he lives up to the hype.

I just packaged Felix in a trade, I wanted to dump him while he still has high value. Here's the trade I made:
Felix Hernandez Todd Jones Nick Swisher
for
Delmon Young Francisco Rodriguez Scott Kazmir
Im in a 8 team AL only league, what do you guys think about this deal?
If you were so concerned about risk i find it strange you went after Kazmir.

I mainly was going for k-rod and delmon. Kazmir was just a downground so the other person would take the trade.

Not to be a dick, but take this to the trade forum. We'd all be happy to give our opinions on your trade there. I keep checking this thread thinking that there is some kind of update and it's some irrelevant post like this. Thanks.
The M's are probably waiting to see if he'll miss just two starts or three or more, if he's gonna be out for longer they'll put him on the 15 or 60 day dl.
My guess is he's out til mid-late May, 5-6 starts.
