In all seriousness, besides having a sub-par 2006, has anything really happened to Buehrle to make him so unwanted?
He's averaged 15 W's a season since he came up - remarkably consistent too. In 2005 he won 16, 3.1era, 1.18whip, and 150k. 2004 he also won 16 with 3.9era, 1.25whip, and 165k.
Career averages for this 28yr old are ~15 W's, 3.8era, 1.25whip, ~130k.
I just think he's worth more than his perceived value - even after being able to dangle a no-no in front of your potential trading partner... am I missing something?
