Kendrick did not hit his last AB and the announcers were saying something about him getting hit with a baseball?

Howie Kendrick left Tuesday's game in the ninth inning after he was hit on the left hand by a pitch.
Kendrick stayed in after being plunked and continued to take his position at second base, but he didn't come out to hit with the Angels down 4-1 in the ninth. He's probably day-to-day.
