people who cry about trades are bound to piss somebody off and shoot themselves in the foot later, when they may make a seemingly lobsided deal.

People who throw out words like "cry" whenever they mention a trade protest that someone is making generally don't think any deal is vetoable.

Think about this....if the season ended today would Martin or Valverde be keepers? NO

There is your answer. In a keeper league you must take into consideration keepers, and as a commish I weigh that more than a slow start that Utley is having. that guy in last place will feel r@ped when Utley and Howard are on Espn every day.

The team in last place needs to package Hudson who is hot, and Upton.....makes more sense........Especially if he can get a Solid closer. Valverde is not a guarantee.
