Neither did I, I just traded for him last night. The trade is still pending. I read no prior info about his injury.

White Sox placed outfielder Scott Podsednik on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 16, with a pulled groin muscle.
We're guessing this is related to his offseason hernia surgery. Podsednik was off to a nice start at the plate, hitting .303/.378/.455. Still, the White Sox don't lose much by giving more at-bats to Rob Mackowiak and Brian Anderson against right-handers. Pablo Ozuna will likely continue to play against lefties. CHICAGO -- Prior to tonight's game vs. the Texas Rangers, the Chicago White Sox placed outfielder Scott Podsednik on the 15-day disabled list (retroactive to April 16) with a right adductor pull and recalled left-handed pitcher Boone Logan from Class AAA Charlotte.

Podsednik, 31, is hitting .303 (10-33) with one home run, two RBI, three stolen bases and six runs scored in 10 games with the White Sox this season.

Logan, 22, is 0-1 with a 2.16 ERA (2 ER/8.1 IP) and 11 strikeouts in four relief appearances with Charlotte. He has allowed eight hits and four walks. The 6-foot-5, 200-pounder was unscored upon in nine spring training outings, allowing just four hits with 10 strikeouts in 11.0 IP.

Logan pitched in 21 games with the White Sox in 2006, going 0-0 with an 8.31 ERA (16 ER/17.1 IP).

Not much info there. Hope this doesn't prove too serious, or I'm going to have to go hunting for some SB's.
